File Request Organization
planned
Rabbi David Paskin
I have a bunch of files and documents that parents can sign and/or upload. Some are required and others are optional. I'd love a way to organize these to make it easier for parents. It would be great to be able to put them into folders so I could have one for "Start of Year", "Therapy Screenings", etc.

I would also love to be able to toggle email notifications to admin(s) when a parent submits a file, like you can set for documents and forms. More than one email address at a time would be lovely, too!

Yes, this would be a huge help! Currently the document upload stage is confusing. I would also like to see the option to make it required before submitting the application. Currently it is after they hit submit and can be neglected.

Daniel Andrews: Thinking about what would be so helpful within this, is to have documents that are file requests be listed with the rest of the documents. I keep finding that even when I send a checklist of things to submit, the 2 things that are file requests never get done! I think it's because they're in a separate tab so families are just not seeing it.

Daniel Andrews: It would be nice to have some fillable documents that are not required initially upon enrollment, but can be changed to required for a specific family. For example, if a child falls behind on their immunizations, that family is required to complete a conditional attendance form. Currently everyone sees this form as required when it only applies to a few families. We also have families redo all documents annually, so being able to archive the 2022 form and have them fill out a 2023 version vs having to create a whole new form. Maybe have an option to "request updated version" of each form.
